Easter 2012

6th - 9th April

In keeping with the tradition we will be serving wide selection of lamb and fish dishes during Easter. There is a choice of many curry dishes with lamb. A popular with our diners is a Ministers unique dish called Lamb Shathkora Delight which is prepared with ‘Shathkora’, a lemon type fruit grown only in the Sylhet region of Bangladesh. Shathkora compliment the lamb with a fantastic fragrance of lemon with a tint of bitterness together with a blend of medium strength spices. Those who prefer a dry barbecue type dishes, for them we have Tikka Lamb. Lamb is marinated in rich lightly spiced tandoori sauce consisting of natural yogurt and then cooked in an authentic clay oven. Tikka Lamb is served with a plate of fresh green salad and Ministers special mint and yogurt sauce. Diners who prefer to eat fish for Easter will not be disappointed. Fish on our menu range from fresh water prawns and king prawns, trout, salmon and swordfish. Baja Mach, lightly spiced pan fried fillet of salmon served with sweet and sour sauce, pillau rice and mixed vegetable bhajie is a favourite dish for fish eaters. Zaffron King Prawns, a dish with a wow factor. This dish is beautifully presented with marinated fresh water king prawns in tandoori spices and saffron and grilled. The dish is served with pillau rice and selection of lightly spiced vegetables. If you give us prior notice our chef will be happy to cook a dish of your choice even though it may not appear on our menu. Ministers will be open throughout Easter holiday including Good Friday (6th April), Easter Sunday (8th April) and Easter Monday (9th April). Our opening time is 5pm – 11pm. Please note that normally we are close on Mondays; however we will be open on Easter Monday. We expect to be busy over Easter holiday and therefore strongly recommend that you book your table early to avoid disappointment.
